Abstract

     This research deals with the study and analysis of a predicate inscription from the Sheba dialect, dating back to the middle stage of the Sabaean state, which is the law of shammar scrambles to regulate buying and selling, and the importance of studying this inscription comes from It depicts an important topic, which lies in the enactment of laws that govern the market at the time, and its linguistic structure is distinguished by many linguistic and stylistic issues that are under discussion about its interpretation and interpretation. The words of the inscription are similar to their counterparts in Semitic languages, and end with the conclusion, then recommendations, and a list of sources and references.

     The study reached a general conclusion that the linguistic structure of this legal inscription was characterized by a rich dictionary of specialized vocabulary, and a special morphological and syntactic structure; It seemed influenced by the quality of this inscription and its legal subject in terms of its composition, goals and special purposes, so it emerged with linguistic and stylistic issues that distinguished it from the rest of the inscriptions with other specializations.
